The Supreme Court will take up President Biden’s COVID vaccine mandates today. Justices will hear arguments in two challenges affecting nearly 100-million workers. One case focuses on large companies requiring vaccinations or weekly testing. The other involves healthcare workers at facilities that receive federal funding. The justices will decide whether the mandates can remain in place while challenges play out in lower courts.
While President Biden is vowing to defend the nation and protect democracy. He spoke yesterday to mark the one-year anniversary of the Capitol attack saying he didn’t seek the fight but won’t shrink from it either. He took aim at former President Trump several times, who later described his speech as political theater. The President’s press secretary called it good news that he even saw the speech and said maybe he learned something from it.
