INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – Multiple investigations are underway after a man died in Indianapolis Metropolitan Police custody.
Officers were called to a home early Monday morning where they called an ambulance for a man who was bleeding from the mouth.
Officers tried to get the man to stop moving around the home, but he allegedly moved toward an officer, causing them to use a stun device.
The man was restrained, but when EMS tried to get him to roll over, he was unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the hospital and the officers involved are on administrative leave.
