DEKALB CO., Ind. (ADAMS) – The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department says that speed played a factor in a crash early Saturday morning.
According to a release, a California man was heading north on I-69 near Auburn at around 4 a.m. when his Jeep Grand Cherokee went off the road and hit a guardrail.
The SUV got stuck in the guardrail and got spun around causing it to rotate facing south where it came to a rest.
Dugal Kummar, 64, complained of neck pain and was taken to the hospital. Police said the crash is still under investigation.
