FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – General Motors will invest $632 million dollars at its Fort Wayne Assembly plant.
The money will be used for new conveyors, tooling, and equipment in the body and general assembly parts of the factory.
GM has not provided a timetable as yet.
The plant will continue making internal combustion engine pickups as the automaker has a goal of selling only electrical vehicles by 2035.
