ALLEN CO., Ind. (ADAMS) – The Indiana Department of Transportaiton says that an additional two I-69 ramps will close as part of ongoing interstate construction.
INDOT released the following:
Starting on or after June 11, crews will close the eastbound U.S. 30/Goshen Road ramp to northbound I-69 as well as the northbound I-69 Exit 309B ramp to westbound U.S. 30. The closures are expected to last for two weeks. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
During the closures, crews will complete concrete patching and joint repairs on the interstate as well as resurfacing both of the ramps.
Drivers looking to access northbound I-69 from eastbound U.S. 30/Goshen Road should use the approved detour of southbound I-69 to the S.R. 14/Illinois Road exit (Exit 305) and then re-enter the interstate heading north, or seek an alternate route.
Drivers looking access westbound U.S. 30 from northbound I-69 should continue north to the U.S. 27/Lima Road exit (Exit 311B) and then re-enter the interstate heading south, or seek an alternate route.
INDOT encourages drivers to consider safety for all by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when traveling in and around all work zones.
