FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – The FWPD says speed is suspected as a factor that sent a motorcyclist to the hospital with critical injuries Wednesday evening.
It happened just before 6:30 p.m. at Clinton and Brackenridge. Medics took the adult male driver to the hospital in life-threatening condition.
Police say he was wearing a helmet.
The Fort Wayne Police Department released the following:
On Wednesday July 24th 2024 at approximately 1825 hrs, Officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department were dispatched to a crash near Clinton & Breckenridge. Officers arrive to find a single vehicle crash involving a motorcycle on the private property on the Southwest corner near the intersection. The adult male rider was transported by TRAA to a local area hospital with life threatening injuries.
This incident is under investigation with the Fort Wayne Police Dept Fatal Crash Team. The rider was wearing a helmet, Speed is believed to be a factor.
