Indiana dog shows up in Georgia shelter after two years missing

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (ADAMS) – After two years missing, a lost dog and her owner are celebrating a joyous reunion.

WFIE in Evansville reports that William Bishop of Sullivan, Indiana said he had given up hope on Freya, thinking that the pit bull mix was gone for good.

Just recently, hope was restored as Freya showed up at a Humane Society shelter in Brunswick, Georgia. Her microchip was scanned and today she’s reunited with Bishop.
