FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – The family of a Fort Wayne teen who says the local sheriff drunkenly shoved him to the ground last summer could soon get a big check.

Investigators say he shoved the teen during last summer’s Three Rivers Festival because the teen asked to see some ID at a security checkpoint. The teen’s family sued for $300,000, but there is no word what the settlement’s price tag will be.
