Southern Indiana boy dead after being left in hot car

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (ADAMS) – The sheriff in Evansville says a little boy is dead because someone forgot he was in the car. Vanderburgh County Sheriff Dave Wedding says they got a call yesterday afternoon about the little boy in a car at the University of Southern Indiana.

The sheriff says the little boy was strapped into his car seat, and had been in the car for “several hours.”

The little boy’s father is the one who drove him that day.
