Two from Indiana jailed for Capitol riot roles

WASHINGTON D.C. (ADAMS) – Two people from Indiana are facing charges for their roles in this month’s riots at the U.S. Capitol.

Prosecutors say in addition to John Schaffer, a man from Hammond by the name of Kash Kelly has also been charged. Kelly is looking at misdemeanor charges for being inside the Capitol but could serve time because he was waiting to be sentenced on federal drug charges.

Schaffer has gotten national attention because he is pictured with bear spray at the Capitol.
