FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Police believe weather is to blame for a crash Thursday night that left one woman in critical condition. It happened just after 7:30 p.m. in the 1800 block of Jefferson Blvd. close to Swinney Park.
Fort Wayne Police said one of the drivers was westbound on Jefferson when the car crossed the center line. A female driver was pinned in her vehicle. She was unresponsive when police and medics arrived. She was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The driver of the other car, an adult male was hospitalized but police say he is in good condition.
Police do not believe drugs or alcohol are factors in the crash, but suspect weather. The roads were snowy at the time of the crash.
