INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – Indiana’s newest Safe Haven Baby Box is meant for more than just residents in the northeastern part of the state according to Safe Haven’s CEO.
Monica Kelsey says they’re putting a box for unwanted babies in Angola because it is close to Michigan and Ohio.
Safe Haven Baby coxes allow parents to handover babies to firefighters or police officers without question. Kelsey says the new box, at the Angola Fire Department, will be open starting Monday.
