Coroner’s Office identified man killed at Hanna and Oxford

UPDATE (May 4, 2021):

The Allen County Coroner has identified a man killed in a shooting over the weekend.

The Coroner’s Office released the following:

At 0641 hours on Sunday May 2, 2021 the Allen County Coroner’s Office was notified of the death of Daniel M. Nolan, male black, 33 years of age, from Fort Wayne, Indiana. Fort Wayne Police Department and Three Rivers Ambulance Authority Medics were dispatched to the area of Hanna and Oxford on a shooting investigation.
Daniel M. Nolan was found seated in the driver seat of a car. Medics pronounced death on the scene.
An autopsy has been completed and the next of kin has been notified of the death. The Cause of Death is Multiple Gunshot Wounds and the Manner of Death is Homicide. Daniel M. Nolan is the 14th Homicide in Allen County for 2021.
This continues to be investigated by the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Fort Wayne Police Department officials say that a man is dead following a shooting Sunday morning on the city’s southeast side.

Immediately following, officers didn’t appear to have much information to go on.

FWPD officials released the following:

On 5/2/21 at approximately 5:53 am Officers’ with the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to a shooting at Hanna St/Oxford St. in front of a local gas station. Upon arrival an adult male victim was located in a white vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by paramedics.
