WELLS CO., Ind. (ADAMS) – The Indiana Department of Transportation says that a portion of State Road 116 will close soon for road reconstruction.
Construction includes curve correction, embankment stabilization, and storm sewer work.
Crews are scheduled to begin on or after May 30 between State Road 301 and County Home Road. Work is expected to last until mid-September. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
During construction, drivers are encouraged to use the posted detour of State Road 1 and State Road 218, or seek an alternate route.
INDOT encourages drivers to consider worker safety by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when traveling in and around all work zones.
