Robbie Mack’s GRAMMY Predictions!

It’s known as “music’s biggest night”, and it certainly is. The most-prestigious award you can get is a Grammy in the music industry. Who’s going to win?

Well here’s what I think anyway. I hope I’m right! If I’m not, I have to run around the building…naked? Raven says naked. I won’t subject you to that, I promise.

Album of the Year

Morning Phase, Beck
Beyoncé, Beyoncé
x, Ed Sheeran
G I R L, Pharrell
In the Lonely Hour, Sam Smith
Could it be Sam? Sure it could. But lets not forget the year that Pharrell had with that ‘Happy’ song. It just seems the kind of Album the Grammy folks would pick.

Record of the Year
“Fancy,” Iggy Azalea feat. Charli XCX
“Chandelier,” Sia
“Stay With Me (Darkchild Version),” Sam Smith
“Shake It Off,” Taylor Swift
“All About That Bass,” Meghan Trainor
Oh this is tough. I’d say Sia is out. But it could easily go to any of the other 4. Meghan is actually a possibility. So is Taylor. I still gotta go with Sam.

Song of the Year
“All About That Bass,” Meghan Trainor
“Chandelier,” Sia
“Shake It Off,” Taylor Swift
“Stay With Me,” Sam Smith
“Take Me to Church,” Hozier
Now this is the one that goes to the producers of the song. I’m going to go with Taylor on this one because of it’s catchy-ness.
Best New Artist
Iggy Azalea
Brandy Clark
Sam Smith

Sam or Iggy. It’s going to be between those two.

Best Music Video
“We Exist,” Arcade Fire
“Chandelier,” Sia
“Turn Down for What,” DJ Snake and Lil Jon
“The Golden Age,” Woodkid feat. Max Richter
“Happy,” Pharrell
I kind of what to go with Pharrell, but the video for Sia was very well done.
Best Pop Solo Performance
“All of Me (Live Version),” John Legend
“Chandelier,” Sia
“Stay With Me,” Sam Smith
“Shake It Off,” Taylor Swift
“Happy,” Pharrell Williams
Best Pop Duo/Group Performance
“Bang Bang,” Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj
“Fancy,” Iggy Azalea feat. Charli XCX
“Say Something,” A Great Big World and Christina Aguilera
“A Sky Full of Stars,” Coldplay
“Dark Horse,” Katy Perry feat. Juicy J
I could see it going to Iggy too.
Best Pop Vocal Album
Ghost Stories, Coldplay
Bangerz, Miley Cyrus
My Everything, Ariana Grande
Prism, Katy Perry
x, Ed Sheeran
In the Lonely Hour, Sam Smith

So basically I think Sam Smith is going to clean up…

Best Rap Song
“Anaconda,” Nicki Minaj
“We Dem Boyz,” Wiz Khalifa
“0 to 100/The Catch Up,” Drake
“Bound 2,” Kanye West
“i,” Kendrick Lamar
I think Kendrick is finally going to get some love

Best R&B Song
“Drunk in Love,” Beyoncé feat. Jay Z
“The Worst,” Jhene Aiko
“Good Kisser,” Usher
“New Flame,” Chris Brown feat. Usher and Rick Ross
“Options (The Wolfjames Version),” Luke James feat. Rick Ross
As much as I want it to be Jhene Aiko. Or anything but Drunk In Love.
