FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – School leaders, and perhaps the police, in Fort Wayne will handle the discipline following an on-court fight at a high school basketball game earlier this week.
On Wednesday, the IHSAA, the group that runs high school sports in the state, told Fort Wayne Community Schools to take the lead in the case.
No one is sure just what started the fight between the teams from Northrop High School and North Side High School. Both players and parents in the stands were involved.
School leaders say punishments will range from suspensions to possibly being kicked off the team.
