There’s new hope in the Ukraine crisis. President Biden is willing to consider meeting with his Russian counterpart. But that’s only if Vladimir Putin agrees not to attack his neighbor. The French president invited them to attend a summit. The White House says that could happen after the foreign ministers of both countries meet on Thursday. This comes as satellite images reportedly show Russian troops moving closer to Ukraine’s border.
While tourists are returning to Australia for the first time since the pandemic. The country shut its borders two years ago but just lifted the travel ban for visitors. International flights began today to also reunite family and friends. Those who aren’t vaccinated against coronavirus must quarantine for up to 14 days.
