Three Rivers Festival
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – The Three Rivers Festival will return this year and organizers say that one thing the past couple of years has taught us is that we are definitely “better Together.”
And it is with that spirit that after a two-year hiatus, the Three Rivers Festival will bring back the parade and have the opportunity to celebrate with the city, patrons, partners, and neighbors.
Organizers released the following:
We are all better when we come together and the Three Rivers Festival is ready to celebrate that!
Each July, more than 50,000 of our closest friends and neighbors line the streets of downtown Fort Wayne to witness the floats, hear the bands, and celebrate our community at the official kickoff to the Three Rivers Festival. This year’s Three Rivers Festival Parade theme celebrates the value of being Better Together. 2022 is a year to commemorate the togetherness that makes Fort Wayne, its people, neighborhoods, and businesses one of the best places to be! And, it’s because we’re Better Together! After two years, the parade we all know and love is back! You can visit the Three Rivers Festival website to learn more about the route, Grand Marshalls, times, etc.
“With the circumstances that we have all gone through over the past two years, we are excited to be able to bring the parade back for our community” says new Executive Director, Justin Shurley. “It’s time we celebrate together again. I think we’ve earned it.”
The Steel Dynamics Three Rivers Festival Parade will take place on Saturday, July 9 at 10:00 a.m. Parade Applications are due May 30, 2022. For more information, click here
