FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – A teenager is in critical condition after being stabbed during a fight Wednesday on Harrison Street.
It happened around 6:15 p.m. between two underage boys on bicycles on Harrison close to Fairfax.
Police think the two had a history and knew each other. The boy with the knife fled the scene but was later taken into custody.
The other boy was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the report of a stabbing that occurred at 5200 S. Harrison St., shortly after 6 pm on Aug. 24th, 2022. Preliminary information indicates that two male juveniles, with history, got into an altercation on a bicycle in the area of 5200 S. Harrison St. The victim got stabbed during the altercation and was taken to a local hospital in life threatening condition. The suspect left the scene prior to police arrival, but was apprehended a short time later at his residence.
The Homicide unit, Crime Scene, and the Air Support Unit made the scene to process and collect all evidence associated with the investigation and to interview all parties involved. Harrison St. just South of Fairfax remains closed at this time. This incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department and The Allen County Prosecutor’s Office.
