INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – Talks are underway between Indiana lawmakers and hospitals on lowering prices.
The House and Senate are focused on passing House Bill 1004, which would reform the healthcare marketplace and put limits on hospital prices.
The Indiana Hospital Association says it will have a statement soon on the outcome of the talks.
IHA president Brian Tabor said in a statement that hospitals are committed to doing what they can to reduce overall costs that “holds every segment of the health care industry equally accountable.”
