FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Officials with the Fort Wayne Police Department are asking for the public’s help in finding a vehicle involved in a crash last month that left a bicyclist in life-threatening condition.
On Tuesday, the FWPD released photos of the vehicle that is suspected of being involved in the crash at Coldwater and Collins on March 31.
Police think the vehicle could be a Ford Transit Connect that is either white or gray in color with lettering on both sides of the upper rear portion of the vehicle.
While it is not clear if it came from the suspect vehicle, the FWPD also found a vanity plate at the scene of the crash that reads “Sandra” in a cursive font.

The attached pictures show the suspect vehicle involved in a pedestrian crash that occurred on March 31st, 2023 at Coldwater and Collins Rd. The pictured vanity plate was on the front grill of the suspect vehicle at the time of the crash. There is also lettering on the upper rear portion of the vehicle, on both sides of the vehicle. The suspect vehicle is possibly a Ford Transit Connect, white or grey in color.
