DEKALB CO., Ind. (ADAMS) – The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office says that a woman was sent to the hospital after losing control and crashing into a pole Tuesday morning on CR 46A.
Police said that 44-year-old Michelle Glover was driving on the 4100 block of the roadway just before 8:25 a.m. when she said, “Something happened to one of the tires and she lost steering.”
According to a release from the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office, her Ford Edge veered off the road and hit a utility pole on the northbound side of the road. The vehicle then crossed to the other side of the road into a field before coming to a stop.
Glover was taken to the hospital for pain in her arm. The vehicle was totaled.
The DeKalb Co. Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Parkview EMS and Jackson Fire.
