FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – A 54-year-old Fort Wayne man has been arrested on charges of possessing child pornography.
The Fort Wayne Police Department says that Mohammed Siddiq was arrested after an investigation that started in mid-June. Siddiq was found to be downloading and viewing the material.
The investigation was started by a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

On June 13, 2023, the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force received a Cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). Files downloaded by a resident of Fort Wayne were provided by NCMEC as part of the investigation. Fort Wayne Police Detective John Chambers, 1685F, a member of the ICAC Task Force, was assigned as the Case Agent. He determined during his investigation that the files were downloaded to at least one digital device inside a residence in the 4200 block of Euclid Avenue. On the morning of Friday, September 29, 2023, Fort Wayne ICAC detectives, along with other detectives from the Fort Wayne Police Department Crimes Against Persons Section (CAPS) executed a search warrant at the residence. Several electronic devices were collected pursuant to the search. Mohammed Habibulla Mohamed Siddiq was identified as a person who downloaded and viewed Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), commonly known as child pornography. A warrant was issued later for Mr. Mohammed Siddiq’s arrest, which occurred on November 07, 2023. The Allen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Allen County Sheriff’s Department-Warrants Division assisted.
