WELLS CO., Ind. (ADAMS) – The Indiana Department of Transportation says that a portion of State Road 3 will shut down for bridge work. It will be closed between State Road 18 and State Road 218.
Bridge construction is expected to begin on or after February 5, and is scheduled to last until the end of September. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
During the closure, drivers should use the posted detour of S.R. 18, State Road 5, and S.R. 218, or seek an alternate route.
INDOT encourages drivers to consider worker safety by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when traveling in and around all work zones.
