FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – The Fort Wayne Fire Department says crews were sent to a house fire in the 7300 block of Beaty Avenue early Monday morning.
Three people were inside at the time, two adults and one child, but they made it out safely before firefighters arrived around 5 a.m.
Crews found heavy fire coming from the front door and a side window of the home. It took about 16 minutes to get the fire under control. The official cause is under investigation. No one was hurt.

Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a house fire at address stated. Upon arrival, fire crews found heavy fire coming front door and side window. Fire crews extinguished fire with hose lines and searched house for occupants. All occupants were out of house. Fire crews ventilated structure completed salvage and overhaul. Fire investigators made the scene and cause of fire is under investigation. Fort Wayne Fire was assisted by FWPD, AEP, Nipsco, NEC, and TRAA Medics.
