INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – The omicron surge could lead to more nursing students in classrooms in Indiana.
Lawmakers are considering a plan that would allow nursing schools in the state to enroll more students, and hire more part-time teachers to get those students into the workforce.

Lawmakers are expected to vote on the plan in the next couple of days.
