FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Pretty much everyone who works at Fort Wayne Community Schools is going to see a bigger paycheck. Some will see a much bigger check.
The FWCS school board last night approved raises that start at four percent and go up from there.
Teachers, cafeteria workers, administrators, bus drivers, and nearly everyone else in the district will see a retroactive pay raise this year, and another raise next year.
The deal means new teachers in Fort Wayne will start at nearly $44,000 a year.
