FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – The Northwest Allen County’s school board Monday night signed a retirement agreement with Superintendent Chris Himsel.
He’s been on leave since January for reported health issues. His retirement agreement will pay him nearly $135,000 through June.
He’s also getting $53,000 in 401k contributions from the school corporation.
Himsel has said he wants to focus on his health but is not offering any real explanation about his months-long absence.
