FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Tuesday, June 14, 2022, is Military Appreciation Day at the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo. Those who are currently serving, those who have, as well as their families, can visit the zoo for free.
The Zoo issued the following:
To honor those who serve or have served our country, active-duty military, retired military, Gold Star families, National Guard members, Reservists, and their immediate families receive free zoo admission on Tuesday, June 14 with a valid military ID. Immediate family includes spouse/partner and children aged 18 and under.
All guests are encouraged to add their favorite service person’s name to our Field of Honor during their visit on Tuesday, June 14th.
Military Appreciation Day is scheduled on Flag Day in recognition of all who serve and have served our country. The Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo team says Thank You to our military families.
