FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – The Fort Wayne Police Department (FWPD) is investigating a shooting that happened early Sunday just south of downtown.
Officers responded to the 5000 block of Hoagland Avenue around 5:36 a.m. and found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. The FWPD says that the victim has life-threatening injuries.

The Fort Wayne Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place in the 5000 Blk of Hoagland Ave. Emergency communications received a 911 call regarding a shooting. Officers responded And located a victim suffering a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical conditional and was later identified in Life Threatening condition.
