FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – The Fort Wayne Police Department says a 42-year-old local man has been arrested for child molestation.
Police did not disclose many details but said that a child disclosed the abuse during an investigation that was being conducted by the Crimes Against Persons Section of the FWPD.
Brandon Charles Jones is now facing several charges including two felony counts of Child Molesting.
The FWPD released the following:
A minor child disclosed being a victim of Child Sexual Abuse during an investigation conducted by Detective Michelle Brown, assigned to the FWPD Crimes Against Persons Section (CAPS). The child named Brandon Jones as the defendant. A warrant was issued later for his arrest. Mr. Jones was arrested for that warrant on October 17, 2023 and is currently being housed at the Allen County Jail awaiting trial. Detective Brown was assisted by the Dr. Bill Lewis Center For Children, the Indiana Department of Child Services-Allen County, and the Allen County Sheriff’s Department-Warrants Division.

Preliminary Charges: Two (2) counts of Child Molesting, Level 1 Felonies
One (1) count of Child Molesting a Level 4 Felony
One (1) count of Dissemination Of Matter Or Conducting Performance
Harmful To Minors, a Level 6 Felony
