Lieutenant Governor, Senator Braun both running for governor

UPDATE (December 13, 2022):

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – Indiana Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch is in the race for governor in 2024. She made the announcement this week and began touring the state.

U.S. Senator Mike Braun also officially announced his bid for the office over the weekend.

Governor Eric Holcomb cannot seek another term due to term limits. Crouch has been lieutenant governor since 2017.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – U.S. Senator Mike Braun is taking the first steps toward running for governor of Indiana.

The Republican filed paperwork with the secretary of state’s office for a 2024 run.

Current Governor Eric Holcomb cannot seek re-election because of term limits. Braun has served in the Senate since being elected in 2018.
