Kegan Kline expected to plead guilty at hearing this week

UPDATE (March 27, 2023):

MIAMI CO., Ind. (ADAMS) – A man facing dozens of child exploitation and child pornography charges is expected to change his plea.

Kegan Kline is expected to plead guilty at an in-person hearing in Miami County on Thursday. A jury trial remains scheduled for May but could be lifted at the end of the change of plea hearing.

Kline has admitted to creating the anthony_shots profile – the same one that communicated with Libby German before her and Abby Williams were killed in Delphi in 2017. Kline has not been charged in connection to the Delphi murders.

EARLIER REPORT (March 9, 2023):

MIAMI CO., Ind. (ADAMS) – The state’s witness list for the Kegan Kline trial has been filed. Kline is facing child pornography charges after admitting to creating the anthony_shots online profile to talk to underage girls- including Libby German, who was killed alongside Abby Williams in Delphi in 2017.

The list of witnesses includes Kline’s father, who police have questioned Kline about previously.

Other notable witnesses are the police officer whose photos were used in the anthony_shots profile as well as Barbara MacDonalds, who produces HLN’s “Down the Hill” podcast about the Delphi murders.

Kline’s trial starts in May.
