DEKALB CO., Ind. (ADAMS) – The Indiana Department of Transportation says that a portion of State Road 1 in St. Joe will close soon for work.
Starting on or after February 27, crews will begin a pavement replacement and stormwater project between C.R. 64 and C.R. 63. Work is scheduled to be complete by mid-September. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
During the closure, drivers are asked to use the posted detour of State Road 8 and I-69 or seek an alternate route. Local traffic will have access during construction.
INDOT encourages drivers to consider worker safety by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when traveling in and around all work zones.
